Be a Shelter

It’s 26 degrees today, and some Kind Heart is worried about the Houston greenbelt family -- which is more than squirrels, rabbits and birds, but also a few outdoor cats and sometimes a lost dog or two. Houston animals don’t have strong cold-weather skills because, you know… HOUSTON IS HOT.

I found this touching, this small act of kindness, this offering of a little shelter and a little food...

So here’s our assignment this week:

Be a shelter.

I don't mean physically (although that might happen to some of you). I mean Emotionally. Spiritually.

Be a safe place for someone. Feed a hungry soul.

You know. Reach. Out.
